Personal understanding of what an RBE is
This knowledge-base is proposing considering a Resource-Based Technology any socio-economic system that:
- requires all activities to be fully sustainable in the long term
- does not require money or barter to provide for all needs of human life
- aims at releasing humankind from all dangerous or tedious labour through the use of technology
Critique
Ziggy is openly critical of several characteristics of various advocates of RBE, and very critical of other forms of activism, charity and general society.

Ziggy is critical of The Venus Project's structure and transition style for the following reasons:
- Structure
- Transition style
(Unfinished) which would require collusion of nations and great power structures to implement a global RBE, imposing the new socio-economic system on unwilling minorities. Although imposition of socio-economic systems on minorities is the current norm, Ziggy reasons that a RBE would be dysfunctional in the existence of opposing minorities, mostly as a result of the RBE's expected lack of authority and government. Also, despite TVP's claim of having a comprehensive plan of transition, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that such plan exist in any way other than the text contents of their website. He criticises as well the vagueness of their published materials, like ''All resources become the common heritage of all of the inhabitants''{{Cn}} however there is no mention of how this could happen or be enforced, or in which way individuals' private property be transitioned to becoming common heritage.
